To allow a full range of movement and flow during stretching, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage treatment is performed on a mat laid on the floor, similar to Thai massage.
Each treatment is adjusted to suit clients' needs, whether that is relaxing, energising, soothing, deep or remedial.
The treatment is initiated with a sequence to warm up the body, which allows the session to become a moving meditation.
During the treatment, a mixture of oil and ayurvedic herb - Acorus calamus - in the form of powder, is applied to the skin.
Ground Acorus calamus, a root of wetland plant from the sweet flag family, stimulates the flow of blood, which not only helps to further warm up the muscles but also supports the body’s detoxing processes as well as giving a pleasant, warm, exfoliating feeling.

Deep, broad, full-body work using both hands and feet. I draw from barefoot myofascial release, deep tissue massage, assisted stretches, and joint mobilisations - whatever your body is asking for.
WHAT IT IS
This is the treatment where everything I do comes together. Rather than following a set sequence, I work responsively - blending techniques from across my training into a session shaped entirely around your body.
Working barefoot lets me use broad, sustained, deep pressure that hands alone can't sustain - the kind of slow, full-body strokes that reach long-held tension and let your nervous system genuinely settle.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Sessions take place on a comfortable futon on the floor, with oil - and sometimes a myofascial rub when those techniques are called for. You'll be draped throughout, with only the area being worked on uncovered.
For balance and precision during barefoot work, I will use an overhead rope or silk attached to the futon - this lets me control depth and pressure with real accuracy, so deep never means careless. My barefoot work draws on Ayurvedic Yoga Massage and a myofascial method developed in Hawaii - Sarga Bodywork.
