10 - 13  FEBRUARY 2022

Join Hannah Staunton and I for a long weekend of nourishing and much-needed connection - to your body, yourself, your inner wisdom and an intimate group of other women (cis women, trans women and anyone of the feminine spectrum, including non-binary folk are welcome).

This winter retreat will be a chance to connect to all parts of you - your wild self, your joyful self, your neglected self, your alive self. The parts of you that feel in need of self-love, self-care, rest or reclamation. It will be an opportunity for a deep-dive into the power of your Feminine wisdom; your bodies’ intelligence, your intuition and your true expression.

We will be exploring this through various practices during the long weekend, expect a combination of…

  • Movement - a combination of non-linear and embodied movement, yin, restorative and slow yoga

  • Breathwork

  • Meditation and ritual

  • Self massage

  • Self-inquiry and free writing/journaling

  • Sharing circles and conversation

  • Song/ chanting

  • Connecting to nature and the elements - coastal walks, forest bathing if weather allows

  • Winter wild swimming (dependent on access at this time of year)

  • Fire ceremony

The retreat will be an intimate group of up to 13 women of different ages and walks of life.

It’s open to all women, all bodies and all abilities -  cis women, trans women and anyone on the feminine spectrum, including non-binary folk is welcome. It’s an inclusive space free from judgement. You don’t need to have practiced any of the above before - it isn't about mastery or knowing what you’re doing but about exploration, cultivating self-connection, soulful nourishment and authentic joy.

It’s for the women who resonate with the wildness of nature; who like to tell stories, and have open hearts and curious minds.

It’s for the women that crave honest and open conversation, who like to empower and lift other women up.

And it’s also for women that appreciate and long for silence and deep rest, who just want to pull on long socks and drink tea or red wine by the fire.

Whether it’s solitude and stillness or movement and connection with others - you’ll find it here.

Questions?

WORDS FROM OUR PREVIOUS BODY WISDOM EVENTS…

“A beautifully held session where we were gently encouraged to free-up and listen to our bodies through movement and self-touch/massage. I had a very moving, self-nurturing and satisfying experience, coming away with awareness of some simple practices that I hope to bring more into my day to day live. Many thanks to Hannah and Joanna!”

“Brilliant workshop. I had the best morning - I left feeling free and open.”

“Jo and Hannah’s workshop teaches fundamental skills we should all know, so we can be well. Embodiment is a transformational tool and I don’t think healing can happen long term without it. This is why I was so grateful to have two wise women teaching this topic in such a soothing and accessible way. Everybody should do it, it was just fantastic and very centering.”
